Michael Camacho, CFP, CLU, CHS, CH.F.C., FLMI, MBA
Michael Camacho was raised in Toronto and obtained his degrees at the University of Toronto and Dalhousie University. Between 1990 and 1995, Michael worked with the London Life Insurance Company. Michael joined World Travel Protection Canada Inc. (Zurich Insurance) in 1995 as an account manager. In 2000, Michael joined Credit Security Insurance Brokers Inc. (now known as CSI Brokers Inc.). Michael was a founding member of the Travel Health Insurance Association of Canada (1997/1998).
With an early exposure to Information Technology at IBM and CGI, for the next 30 years Pierre went on to apply his knowledge to the group insurance and the direct marketing of insurance and assistance programs on behalf of several Canadian Financial Institutions as well as in senior executive positions at Blue Cross, Aon Direct, Desjardins Financial Security and more recently, his own consulting firm.
Thomas (Tom) Gillett, F.C.I.A., F.S.A.
Tom achieved successive levels of responsibility within the Actuarial field working with the Affinity Division of North American Life Assurance Company and then Liberty Health/Ontario Blue Cross. Since 1996, Tom’s actuarial consulting firm has specialized in the product development and pricing of specialty medical and dental products and direct response marketing of life and health insurance. Tom has worked with Canadian and offshore insurers or reinsurers. Tom is recognized for superior achievement in risk assessment, profitability, and for his creativity in product development.
Cam is an entrepreneur and career direct marketer who has spent over 30 years working with clients in the retail, financial services, publishing and airline sectors to help them leverage the strength of their consumer brand relationships to create important new revenue streams. An early adopter of CRM and customer segmentation strategies, he and his teams have helped many organizations bring relevant optional insurance products and services to their customers, meaningfully increasing customer engagement, loyalty and revenue. Most recently, as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Enhancement Services at Aimia, Cam lead businesses in Canada and Southeast Asia. Cam was previously with CSI Brokers between 2003 and 2005.
